Hundreds of dead and wounded in the bombing of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza

On Wednesday morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that at least more than 3,200 Palestinians were killed, including more than 500 who were killed because of an Israeli bombing of Al-Ahly Baptist Hospital in Gaza .

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that at least 3,200 people were killed and more than 11,000 people were injured, most of them children and women, as a result of the continuous bombing of the Gaza Strip .  

An Israeli bombing of Al-Ahly Baptist Hospital, east of Gaza City, caused at least 500 Palestinian deaths, while the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that hundreds of people are still under the rubble, which means that the toll from the bombing is likely to rise .  

This attack came at a time when the Gaza Strip is facing an unprecedented humanitarian and health crisis .  

In addition, 80 Palestinians were killed in bombing that targeted homes in Rafah and Khan Yunis, while the Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced that 37 Palestinians were killed in raids on the areas of Al-Qasasib and Halima Al-Saadia in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip .  

Regarding the bombing of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said :  

The Baptist Hospital massacre is unparalleled and indescribable.

  • Hundreds of victims arrived at the hospital, and ambulance crews are still removing body parts.
  • Most of the victims of the Baptist massacre were children and women whose features were absent.
  • The victims arrived without heads, with torn body parts and viscera.
  • The torrent of victims and the type of injuries exceeded the capabilities of medical teams and ambulances.
  • Doctors were performing surgeries on the ground and in the corridors, some of them without anesthesia.
  • A large number are still waiting for operations, while medical teams are trying to save the lives of others in intensive care.  
  • The remaining therapeutic capabilities have only a few hours to declare their actual exhaustion.
