The world-famous Apple Watch faces the possibility of an imminent decision from the US authorities imposing restrictions on it, including a ban on exporting abroad, after allegations that Apple violated medical technologies owned by another specialized company .

In reports seen by Al Arabiya Net, American media quoted the medical technology company (Masimo Corp) as saying that the US Trade Commission recommended banning the Apple Watch, which violates its medical technology to detect oxygen levels in the blood .  

The matter arose due to a complaint submitted to the Commission in mid-2021 accusing Apple Watch of violating its patented technology for the “light-based blood oxygen measurement function .”  

Apple is steadily enhancing fitness and health features with each generation of its smart watches, which market trackers say dominates the smart watch category in the world .

It is noteworthy that Apple launched its latest smart watch last month, called (Apple Watch Series 9), promoting increased performance along with features such as the ability to access and record health data .
