While it was decided to expropriate some immovables in Trabzon's Of, Sivas's Zara and Adıyaman's Besni districts, Cunda Island, which is within the borders of Balıkesir's Ayvalık district, was declared a sensitive area to be protected.

According to the Presidential decisions published in the Official Gazette, some immovables subject to private ownership within the borders of Eskipazar neighborhood of Trabzon's Of District will be expropriated immediately by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) in order to provide the necessary construction within the scope of the "My First Workplace Project".

Some of the immovables subject to private property within the borders of Ahmet Başyurt neighborhood of Zara district of Sivas will be expropriated urgently by TOKİ in order to provide the necessary construction within the scope of the "100 Thousand Social Housing Project".

The majority of the immovable properties within the declared risky area in the Ciritmeydanı District of the Besni district of Adıyaman, on the other hand, are removed from the buildings that are in violation of the zoning legislation, carry disaster risk, pose a problem in terms of general public order and security, and comply with the rules of science and art, with their transportation and infrastructure, and are healthy and safe. It will be expropriated immediately by the Besni Municipality in order to create living spaces.

Cunda Island “definitive sensitive area to be protected

As a result of the re-evaluation of the conservation status of the Cunda Island Natural Site, which is located within the borders of Ayvalık district of Balikesir, it was decided to register and declare it as a sensitive area to be protected.

In addition, it was decided to establish the "Afyonkarahisar Province Tea and Bolvadin Drinking Water Treatment Plant Association" and the "Natural Cities Association" with its headquarters in Balıkesir's Sındırgı district.
